Intimate backyard dinner and book exchange
The eleventh blind book exchange, this time centered around the theme of the Pursuit of Love. Whether it’s romantic, familial, or platonic love, there’s much to be said about love’s pursuit—and the obstacles that come from seeking it.
The evening was spent making new friends and catching up with old, writing postcards to get out the vote for Christy Smith in California, exchanging books with clues scribbled on top, eating homemade peach galette and drinking iced mint lychee tea in a friend’s candlelit patio underneath the banana palms.
